HEAR– The Bible teaches that one must hear the gospel message of Christ; “so then faith comes by hearing and hearing by the word of God.” Romans 10:17
BELIEVE– God so loved the world that he promises “whosoever believeth in his only begotten Son shall not perish but have everlasting life.” John 3:16.
REPENT– Repentance of past sins must be made, in order, to be saved. “The times of ignorance therefore God overlooked but now he commands all men everywhere that “except ye repent-, ye shall all likewise perish.” Luke 13:3
CONFESS-The confession by the mouth that Jesus is Lord, the Son of the God brings life to the sinner. Jesus says “whosoever therefore shall confess me before men, him will I confess before my Father which is in heaven.” Matthew 10:32
BE BAPTIZED– Baptism for the remission of sins is essential and just as Peter proclaimed, “repent- and be Baptized- everyone of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.” Acts 2:38. This gift is promised to both man and woman who obeys God’s commandments.
REMAIN FAITHFUL– The Christian walk or way of life is a continuous journey until death or til Jesus returns and Christ encourages us with these words “be faithful unto death and I will give thee a crown of life.” Revelations 2:10
