What to Expect at Worship?
If you’re visiting us for the first time, we want to help make your experience a welcoming one.
Our Scriptural Order of Worship
–Singing: The entire congregation joins together in singing and praising God in song/hymns without the use of musical instruments (Ephesians 5:19, Colossians 3:16)
The songs will be in a songbook which will be available in front of you and on the overhead screen.
–Praying: The prayers are led by different men in our congregation (1 Timothy 2:1-8).
–Taking Communion: Every Sunday with our members we, remember Christ’s death by eating unleavened bread and drinking fruit of the vine (Acts 20:7), also known as grape juice. We sit quietly and reflect as it is a time of remembrance of the sacrifice of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ gave for us.
–Preaching: We will enjoy a scriptural Bible lesson that lasts about 30-45 minutes (Romans 10:14; Acts 2:42). On Sundays, our Minister presents these lessons though occasionally a guest speaker will guide our thoughts. We trust that these passages will help you develop your desire to become stronger and/or become a part of His glorious body.
–Giving: Each member of the congregation contributes weekly to the work of the church (1 Corinthians 16: 1-2). We don’t ask or expect our visitors to give anything in the offering.
